Lake City Florida
Citizens Police Academy Alumni
Graduates of the Lake City Citizens Police Academy in Columbia County, Florida use this site to collaborate on Community Affairs.
A passion for our Community
Through our partnership with the Lake City Police we volunteer our time and resources to benefit the residents of Lake City and surrounding areas.
Annual Bowling Tournament
Our annual benefit bowling tournament allows us to raise money for safety equipment, K9-equipment and to provide assistance to Lake City Police employees and their families.
Community Projects
Parking at the Fair, Farm Share, and maintaining the memorial crosses are just a few examples of community projects our volunteers engage.
Officer Support
We rally around our officers to celebrate their accomplishments and to support them in hard times. We send them flowers and cards wishing a speedy recovery as well as Gift cards for the Holidays…
Safety Equipment
We help purchase safety equipment for the department, so that the officers can use gear that may not be covered in the Police Budget.
K-9 Equipment
K-9 gear is expensive, but can save the life of a dog that serves it’s community. We proudly provide medical and safety gear to some of Lake City’s most dedicated officers.
Community Engagement
We support the Police Chief and his team of communications experts in getting the word out, having Breakfast with the Chief. We work alongside the youth groups like the Explorers.
Informing the Community
Our CPA Alumni Volunteers are an active part of the Lake City Police Communications Mission. We are hoping that you will join our ranks, and help us inform the community on crime trends, security alerts, local events and positive messages about police work in Lake City
